Mercia International Products is a world leader in the supply of staple adaptors, staple ball valves and hydraulic hose assemblies used in underground coal mining. All products are fully tested and approved to International standards and have been successfully used in most major mining countries including – Australia, China, Europe, South Africa, UK and the USA.
As part of an integrated mining programme MIP work closely together with Manuli Rubber Industries to provide a comprehensive range of mining hose assemblies with matched hose ends. The MIP staple adaptor programme ranges from DN06 (1/4”) up to DN76 (3”) and includes the latest DN63 (2.1/2”) – 350Bar (5000PSI) staple connection.

The partnership with Manuli Rubber Industries provides an extensive range of hydraulic hose in both wire braid and spiral construction with couplings which are stocked and distributed from the MIP warehouse located in the West Midlands.
The knowledge and experiences gained from the mining Industry has enabled MIP/Manuli to specialise in large bore long length hose assemblies which can be 100% pressure tested and certified to comply with strictest quality requirements.

The approval and safety requirements associated with fuel delivery products have always demanded a totally certified and tested programme. All MIP petrol dispenser hose assemblies satisfy EN1360 standards and each assembly is tested for electrical conductivity.
Hose assemblies are available in a range of standard and tailored lengths fitted with BSP male or female hose ends.

Welding Hose Assemblies
MIP have available a range of EN559 welding hose and fitting products to satisfy most requirements. A size range of 6mm (1/4"e;), 8mm (5/16"e;) and 10mm (3/8"e;) can be assembled in 5mtr / 10mtr and 20mtr lengths and supplied in sets or individual assemblies.
The fitting programme includes inserts, check valves and nuts to match the hose sizes.

We specialise in supplying approved hoses and fittings to create systems suitable for high pressure fluid transfer. The braided textile layer of our hoses offers ample resistance to outward pressure while remaining flexible enough to adapt to your working environment. As demand for higher efficiency grows, manufacturers need to produce hoses capable of conveying potentially hazardous fluids at higher pressures and flow rates.
