Mercia International Products stocks a full range of hydraulic hose and electrical cable safety covers that are capable of providing solutions to issues relating to: operator personal safety, external hose and cable protection; from either heat or abrasion and also hydraulic oil spill containment. Mazzer, our suppliers have developed an extensive family of protection products tailored to meet a wide variety of industrial needs and requirements.
The product range includes:
Texsleeve®, a textile protective sleeve in a wide range of sizes that is designed to offer significant abrasion and heat protection to single and bundled hoses or electrical cables. Texsleeve® also provides protection from oil spill when used to cover high pressure hydraulic hose. Other products in this family are Texwrap™ an easy to install textile sleeve and Textstrip™ a textile belt for bundling or hanging hoses or cables.
Kovertec™, a high performance spiral wrap for hoses and electrical cables that offers superior resistance to surface abrading and heat, whilst providing an effective solution to bundling of single or multiple hoses / cables without compromising flexibility. Three variants are available in this family for products: Kovertec PSA, Kovertec HT and Kovertec HD.
Shiltek™, a silicone coated hose and cable fire resistant sleeve with outstanding heat resistant properties, it is supplied in a wide range of sizes and can be used where either high temperature insulation or external protection of hose or cables is desirable.
Other products in this family are: Shilcut™ , a fibreglass / silicone coated fire resistant blanket. Shilwrap™ a silicone coated fire resistant sleeve with a VCO closure enabling “in situ” installation and Shiltape™ a knitted fibre glass, silicone coated tape used to spiral wrap hose or cables.
