Skived Hose

The hose programme includes an internationally approved one & two wire braid hose together with four & six spiral constructions and a range of outer cover compounds to meet different operating environments.

One & two wire braid hoses are available from DN6 (1/4”) up to DN76 (3”) – four spiral hoses DN6 (1/4”) up to DN50 (2”) and six spiral DN25 (1”) up to DN76 (3”).

Hydraulic Fittings

To compliment the extensive range of hydraulic hoses MIP also offer the Manuli certified and matched fitting / ferrule programme which includes the following connections:

Assembly Machines

MIP hose assemblies are prepared in a specialised custom built facility.

The combination of Manuli hose / Manuli inserts & ferrules teamed with Manuli assembling machines ensures consistent high quality hose assembly standards.

Quality Check

The performance of a hose assembly, in terms of its fitting retention and resistance to leakage, is mostly determined by the correct level of hose wall and tube compression achieved during crimping.

MIP ensures that all the variables present during the assembly process are carefully controlled and recorded to achieve consistent, high quality end results.

Hydrostatic Test Equipment

A key feature of MIP’s hose build programme is the ability to conduct in-house hydrostatic proof testing of hose assemblies.

Certificates of Conformity with a hose assembly identification system form part of a fully traceable procedure.
