Mercia International Products Ltd is a UK based company specialising in the supply of mining products and hydraulic components to the Mining Industry.
The knowledge and experienced gained from over 25yrs associated with underground mining has enabled MIP to establish a total hydraulic package of mining products. The centre piece of the hydraulic support system is a full line staple adaptor and ball valve programme in Standard, High Performance and Flushfit designs. To compliment the hydraulic system MIP also supply Manuli Rockmaster mining hose with International mining approvals (MSHA (USA), LOBA (Germany), FRAS (Australia), MA (China) DGMS (India). These mining products are used to connect and interface with pump stations, roof supports and control valves used in mining operations.

Mining Hose Products
Mercia International Products has developed a range of mining products for various applications such as connecting pump stations, roof support systems and the control of valves in the underground mining industry. Having been heavily involved in the mining industry, our products have been created to meet the needs of those operating in all kinds of environments and this has driven us to supply a number of hose protection mining products to compliment our hoses.
Mining Adaptors
We supply a range of hose adaptors for our mining product range which include SA, SH Staple hose Adaptors as well as SAF & SHF Flushfit Adaptors. The SA adaptor uses a ‘U’ shaped pin to lock to hose ends together under high pressure working conditions. The SH adaptor is suited for large bore high pressure hydraulic hoses which must withstand pressures of 420Bar (6000PSI). The SAF & SHF Flush Adaptors is a compact version of the SA and SH models which is housed inside the envelope of the female hose end to reduce snagging problems.
Mining Hose
We specialise in Manuli mining products and supply hose and fittings which are tested within our custom built hose assembly facility. This enables us to conduct in-house hydrostatic proof testing as well as testing large bore, long length hose assemblies.
Hose Inserts
We supply a range of staple and stainless steel hose insert mining products which have been developed to compliment the mining hose programme. We stock DN06 up to DN76 inserts which conform to industry standards as well as those suitable for high performance applications in sizes of DN40 up DN76. If you require 90 / 135 degree staple and stainless steel hose inserts, we can supply these on request.
Ball Valves
Our Staple ball valves come in a range of configurations such as standard & high performance options, swivel female or compact fixed females. All our ball valves are available in a number of handle options as well as a lockable safety handle.
Stainless Steel Adaptors
Our range of mining products includes SA stainless steel staple adaptors which have been developed to meet the needs of companies operating with underground water lines or other highly corrosive environments. Our stainless steel hose adaptors work out cheaper than a plated steel alternative.
Rotary Staple Coupling
We have developed mining products suited for mining hose applications where the assembly needs to move freely during use and at high pressure. Our Rotary Staple Couplings are the ideal solution as they reduce torsional stress and provide a long service life.
