SA - Staple Adaptors

The staple adaptor concept comprises of a male and female end locked together with a 'U' shaped pin providing a simple staple-lock connection that can be easily assembled in difficult working environments. A wide range of configurations and sizes are available from DN06 (1/4") up to DN76 (3") and include a special Stainless steel programme for raw water lines.

All staple adaptors are tested and approved and meet or exceed International standards DIN20043, NCB638, BS6537and SAE J1476. A critical feature of the staple connection is the performance of the staple pin and as part of the programme MIP has available Spring steel, Stainless steel and the latest ‘D’ section Stainless staples developed for high impulse requirements.

The demand for large bore high pressure hydraulic hoses to satisfy increased production generated the need for a modified high performance staple adaptor capable of operating at pressures up to 420Bar (6000PSI).

MIP's most recent development is the DN63 (2.1/2") staple connection operating at 350Bar (5000PSI) establishing new standards for high pressure hydraulic hose lines. Two designs of staple pin are available in rectangular section for 350Bar (5000PSI) and ‘D’ Section for 420Bar (6000PSI) up to DN50 (2”).
