Manuli Mining Hose
The Manuli mining hose programme is considered one of the most extensive ranges available for mining applications and includes Rockmaster and Shieldmaster hose with high abrasion resistant covers in two, four and six wire construction.
Hose Flush
With the constant requirement for increased flow and pressure Manuli have also developed a high performance Diamondspir six spiral hose from sizes DN25 (1") to DN76 (3"). A main feature of the Manuli mining hose programme is the certification and conformance to International standards MSHA (USA), LOBA (Germany), FRAS (Australia), MA (China) and DGMS (India).
As part of the mining hose programme MIP have installed a modern purpose built hose assembly facility with the capability of assembling and testing large bore, long length hose assemblies.
The quality and consistency of hose assembly is further assured with a matched programme of Manuli hose, Manuli hose inserts and Manuli assembly equipment. Certificates of conformity and full traceability also form part of the assembly facility.
Mining Hose Protection Products
Our range of hydraulic mining hose protection products enables hoses to be used in dangerous environments by protecting them from fire and surface abrading. The hose protection coverings we supply include Texsleeve; a textile heat resistant sleeve which is wrapped around the hose, Kovertec; a high performance spiral wrap suitable for mining hose and electrical cabling and Shiltek which is a silicone coating sleeve offering fire resistance as well as added exterior protection against abrasion.
Our protection products have been developed for use with a wide variety of hose applications including mining hose, welding hose, hydraulic hose and also electric cabling. Ensuring hose and cabling has adequate protection is key to ensuring the smooth running of any associated business and also ensures the safety of the workforce too.
